As Mark Twain brilliantly said it, “Humanity has unquestionably one really effective weapon—laughter. Power, money, persuasion, supplication, persecution—these can lift at a colossal humbug—push it a little—weaken it a little, century by century, but only laughter can blow it to rags and atoms at a blast. Against the assault of laughter nothing can stand.”

Comedy seekers and stoners filled the room at the Eclipse Theatre on February 12 and 13th 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada for a super dope evening of fun filled entertainment and knee slapping laughter.  Eclipse Theaters is a swanky, concierge-style venue that has eight auditoriums. The venue is known for hosting live music, independent films and first run movies.  Guests can enjoy a great menu and experience in Theatre Style meals and of course who wouldn’t want beverage service brought to your seat!  Eat in your theatre from the same great menu at the bar. There is also a dedicated lounge area and an outdoor patio.

Comedians Marty Ross, Steven Pearl, The 420 Comic, Stoner Rob, Diaz Mackie, Issac Isreal, Amanda Whittemore, Tracy Skene, Curt Diesel, Red, Krista Kay, and Jeremy Flores took the stage one after the other, making the crowd laugh so hard their cheeks hurt!

New Yorker, Marty Ross, was born and raised in New York City. He moved to Illinois to get his start in the schemata business.  After being promoted he moved to St. Louis and then back to Illinois. He has settled in Los Angeles where he is been married and divorced, let’s just say more than a few times.

Jeffrey Peterson, best known as The 420 Comic, is a comedy Producer and Host.  He walked around sporting a cannabis leaf sports coat and very “money” tie.  He walked around greeting all the guests with a smile and so much charm.  Starting his skit with, “who here is stoned, the audience cheered. Everyone was excited to see The 420 Comic.

Six foot six inches tall, Krista Kay, born in Mobridge, South Dakota took the stage and drew the audience in.  We fell in love with her when she premiered reality show ‘My Giant Life” in 2015.  Always insecure about her height, she turned to comedy and ran with it.  And boy, are we sure glad she did.  Krista is kind, sweet and has a beautiful soul and did I mention oh so talented?

Comedy is an important aspect of life. It helps us during the darkest time in our lives. In today’s society, we live in a time where more people than not experience some sort of depression.  Comedy makes us forget about the bad times we may have and it reminds us that the things in our lives that matter and are actually hilarious.
